Ft. Worth Friday

Brian and I sat on the porch one beautiful Saturday morning this past spring, trying to decide what to do on his day off.  Neither of us really wanted to go to Denton or McKinney, since we do that a lot, so we decided to spend the day in Ft. Worth.  And we lucked out that day because there was an art show right downtown that we didn't know was planned until we got there!

We also stopped by the JFK memorial, where President Kennedy gave an impromptu speech to Ft. Worth residents before heading to Dallas...on the morning of November 22, 1963.

We walked around the art festival, had a pizza lunch, then walked around some more.  Evie was a little confused and kept asking when we would go back to the hotel, since the last time we were in Ft. Worth we stayed overnight.  But we left with balloon animals, so that made up for it!
