Perot Museum
The kids and I visited the Perot Museum with Gram. It's such an impressive building. One of the first things you do is take the escalator to the dinosaur floor, which gave us some awesome views of downtown!
The dinosaurs were amazing. Photos don't do them justice - to see how enormous they were in person was incredible.
The crystals, gems and minerals were mesmerizing. The exhibit is very dark and cool...and sparkly! We couldn't believe the colors they produced.
Sam and I walked through the different habitats of Texas. There were things to see, hear, and even smell!
Evie was in heaven when we got to the children's area. She did water play, art, and imaginative play at the campsite and the farmer's market.
We played in the fountains outside by the Leap Frog Forest, and when that ended in fighting and crying, we headed to the car, stopping for just a second to play the outdoor instruments.
It was an awesome, exhausting day at the Perot Museum. So glad we got to go and definitely want to visit again next summer.
