Welcome to the first post at Tales From the Nest!
It's only appropriate, I guess, that this first post be pictures of the celebrations we've had as we await the arrival of "our little magpie", Baby Sam.
We've had three beautiful baby showers so far; a family shower, a classroom shower and a school shower. Everyone has been so gracious, giving both baby gear and more importantly, much-needed advice!
Our family shower was hosted by two of Sam's grandmothers on the 18th. It was held at "Gram's" house (that would be my mom) and she did a great job of cooking and decorating. She needs to go into the baby shower planning business!
Our classroom shower was a surprise! The kids enjoyed giant blue cupcakes while I opened gifts, sporting my lovely plastic tiara covered in feathers and rhinestones. Our school shower was right after our classroom party and was hosted by my 3rd grade teammates. It was held in our school library. I've been at this school for a long time, so I've been lucky enough to have had a wedding shower and a baby shower there!
